Green DIY Energy – Full Review

Green DIY Energy

Green DIY energy is actually a bundle of several products.   When you purchase this product you will receive access to a site where you can download 9 documents and watch 7 videos.    Some of the eBooks, such as the wind generator book, appear to have originally been websites.  The instructions say to click on images to load a larger copy, but clicking does not work and some of the plans are a little difficult to read in the imbedded images.

Documents you can download

Other documents in the package are U.S. government documents available elsewhere, or documents reprinted from other sources.  There are advantages to having a single place to get all of these documents, even though they are not all original.

The instructions for building a solar panel from solar cells are clear and appear complete.  It is obvious from the text and pictures that the author has build these and that they worked for him.

diy2Be sure to read each document all the way through before beginning your project.  In some caes, such as the wind generator document, the author takes you through the process that he went through in real time to build a wind generator to use on camping trips (not to power a house).  At the end you learn that the blades came off in a strong storm, and he decided on a different blade design for the future.   You may want to start with that design.

The videos are the same ones used by Home Made Energy.  I’m  not sure of the connection between the two products.  All in all, this is a nice bundle of products.  Rather than purchasing a single comprehensive eBook you are purchasing a small library of instruction manuals.  Be prepared to read through them all to apply the knowledge you learn on your project.
